History is being made right before your eyes! In the cultural capital of our homeland, in St. Petersburg, the first significant Taekwon-Do ICTF tournament – “Alexander Nevsky Cup” was held. 10 regions took part in the competition on 14th November 2021: St. Petersburg, Moscow, Volgograd Region, Tyumen Region, Kirov Region, Sverdlovsk Region, Leningrad Region, Republic of Crimea, Republic of Komi and Republic of Udmurtia, as well as 2 countries – Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
At the grand opening of the competition a demonstration performance from the St. Petersburg national team took place, as well as the main duel (gala final) between athletes from St. Petersburg. St. Petersburg and Moscow According to the results of a stubborn struggle, the first team place in the tournament was taken by the club from St. Petersburg “School of Taekwondo Panther“, the second place was taken by representatives from the Komi Republic, the third place in the sports club “Chirugi”, St. Petersburg.
The winners of the competition were awarded with cups and certificates of honor.
The athletes showed excellent physical fitness, high team spirit and will to win. We thank all the participants of the competition, representatives of the regions and their teams, the judges, parents for their support and trust!
