On June 19, in the Big Conference Hall of the Orbita Hotel, the presentation of the newly formed All-Russian Chang-Hon Taekwondo Federation, the center of which was St. Petersburg, was held in a solemn atmosphere. The All-Russian Federation became part of a large organization – the International Taekwondo Chang-Hon Federation (ICTF), headed by GM KJN Cariati (a direct student of Choi Hong Hee). The All-Russian Chang-Hon Taekwondo Federation under the leadership of Oleg Valerievich Krivoruk became the only and full-fledged ICTF representative in the Russian Federation. Also GM KJN Cariati was invited to Oleg Valerievich to join the Council of Europe and work directly with the headquarters of ICTF EUROPE, which will allow the federation to develop as efficiently as possible.
Oleg Valerievich presented the main goals and objectives:
- Popularization of the original taekwondo technique on the territory not only of St. Petersburg, but also of the whole of Russia, where the main task is not to maximize profits, but to develop sports in our country
- Attracting new regions to our team.
- Development on the territory of St. Petersburg not only taekwondo, but also kickboxing, which this year has become an Olympic sport. Pros of working with ICTF:
- Complete difference from other ITF federations in name.
- Cooperation and partnership with other Taekwondo federations.
- Conducting tournaments on the territory of St. Petersburg with new disciplines and a higher level with the involvement of foreign guests.
- Conducting seminars, master classes with world-class taekwondo masters.
- Opportunity to develop not only in taekwondo, but also in the Olympic sport – kickboxing. In a solemn atmosphere, the current instructors were awarded certificates of individual ICTF membership
